Welcome to Riverbend

The Riverbend Peninsula is the 3rd bend in the Tennessee River when you leave downtown Knoxville headed west. Much of the Peninsula was developed in the 1970s and contains many neighborhoods, including Riverbend, Lyons Bend, Craig Cove, Oakleigh, Harrison Keepe, Duncan Woods, Duncans Glen, and Glen Cove. The Peninsula is located in the Knox County, so has low property taxes, and homes have large lots. There is a variety of homes throughout the Peninsula, including newer estate-size homes, ranchers, mid-century style, and more traditional two stories.

The main roads into the Riverbend Peninsula are Lyons Bend Road and Duncan Road. The Riverbend Peninsula features Duncan Boat Dock, where many residents keep their boats. The Peninsula Club, which features a summer swimming pool, as well as year-round tennis and pickleball, is a neighborhood favorite and also offers social events for its members. This is one of my favorite neighborhoods because it is where I live and raised my three children.
