Welcome to Sequoyah Hills

Sequoyah Hills is located in a bend in the Tennessee River off of Kingston Pike, just West of the University of Tennessee campus. Originally developed in the 1920s, Sequoyah Hills was one of Knoxville’s first suburbs. The neighborhood features a variety of architectural styles, and while the majority of the residences are private homes, there are also a few condo developments and apartments. In the heart of Sequoyah Hills is a small shopping area with a gas station, restaurant, coffee shop, and hair salon. Residents also have an elementary school and a public library within the neighborhood.

The main entrance roads to Sequoyah Hills are Scenic Drive and Cherokee Boulevard. Cherokee Boulevard is a popular walking trail and meanders through the neighborhood, with much of it along the Tennessee River. The neighborhood also contains several parks and ball fields.
